The 2016 F-350

The sturdy F-350 is available in many trims from the reliable XL to the equipped XLT and the luxurious Lariat, with even more upscale trims like the King Ranch® and Platinum. There are many cab configurations including regular, super, and crew, with 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options as well. Inside the lengthy, nearly six-foot cab, are two bench-configuration styles: a 40-20-40 three-passenger split with a flip-down center console, or 40/40 bucket seating with a lounge-size center console. Store as much in your huge door pockets as you could in a small tool chest, and opt for the removable folding rear seat for your cargo or a four-legged companion. Tinted or Privacy Glass, and Dual-Zone Electronic Temperature Control are also wise considerations to keep your interior cool and comfortable. Standard safety features include a restraining system with dual front, front head curtain and front side impact airbags and the SOS Post-Crash Alert system.

2016 Ford F-350 Engine

Ford’s Super Duty® F-350 comes with a 6.2-liter Triton V8 engine that delivers more standard horsepower (385) and torque (405 lb.-ft.) than any other heavy duty pick-up on the market. However, if you’re hauling massive tonnage frequently, the 350 also offers an optional 6.7-liter Turbo Power Stroke diesel engine that packs a mighty 800 lb.-ft. torque enabling you to haul 19,000 lbs. When you opt for the 5th-Wheel and Gooseneck Hitch Trailer Tow Prep Package that number increases to an impressive 31,200 lbs. The F-350 is thoughtfully designed to optimize your driving experience and safety. Some innovations include Hill Start Assist that prevents backward roll by holding the brake on an incline as you switch between brake and gas pedals. The Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) synchronizes trailer brakes along with your truck’s brakes, resulting in a unified stop no matter how heavy your load. Complimenting features like Trailer Sway Control and Roll Stability Control® take on a similar role in maintaining trailer control during your drive.

2016 Ford F-350 Instrument Cluster

The Ford F-Series includes the Work Solutions system programmed with GPS linking and can even provide computer access to your office with a cellular signal. A recent innovation utilizing RFID tags keeps tabs on all of your vital equipment. Never leave for, or from a job site, without confidently knowing that all of your tools are onboard too. Additional conveniences include 110-volt power in-cab, and a productivity screen that provides readings on oil and transmission fluid temperatures, and fuel economy. Also included in the F-350 is Ford’s Sync® technology that offers hands-free calling, and music search, as well as automatic phone book download from your compatible device. Take the tech tools a step further by upgrading to Sync® with MyFord Touch for color-coded display, voice-recognition navigation and climate control and access to SiriusXM Satellite Radio too.

2016 Ford F-350 Trunk

The latest in available dashboard technology includes Ford’s Truck Apps for towing and off-roading. The Towing App is capable of programming and saving many different trailer profiles, like RV and Boat, for easy transition. The Towing App will also walk you through a checklist of steps for successfully attaching your trailer, making the hook-up process practically effortless. In the Off-roading mode, you have the ability to shift to 4x4 while viewing the pitch, roll, and overview status of the truck in motion. With this system, you can see how your truck is leaning, how your wheels are turning, and you can monitor changes in the electronic locking differential as well.
